Our Mission
Let's Play Advocacy Group is committed to improving the lives of veterans, justice-involved individuals, survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, individuals experiencing homelessness, and other vulnerable populations by providing comprehensive support services that promote stability, recovery, self-sufficiency, and long-term success. We serve individuals and families affected by poverty, behavioral health challenges, substance use disorders, incarceration, psychiatric hospitalization, housing insecurity, disabilities, and systemic barriers that limit access to opportunity. Through trauma-informed advocacy, housing assistance, behavioral health support, legal resource navigation, emergency financial assistance, workforce development, and community-based programming, we empower individuals to overcome challenges and build sustainable pathways toward independence. Our organization recognizes that many individuals become trapped in cycles of homelessness, hospitalization, victimization, unemployment, and justice system involvement due to a lack of accessible resources and coordinated support. We are dedicated to bridging those gaps by providing immediate stabilization services while addressing the underlying factors that contribute to long-term hardship. Through our sober living and transitional housing programs, reentry and reintegration services, emergency assistance initiatives, and Justice for All legal advocacy program, we work to ensure that every individual has access to safe housing, essential resources, meaningful opportunities, and equitable support regardless of their circumstances.
Our Vision Let's Play Advocacy Group envisions a future where every individual regardless of background, circumstance, or past involvement with behavioral health, housing, or justice systems has equitable access to the resources, support, and opportunities necessary to live safely, independently, and with dignity. Through advocacy, direct services, and community collaboration, we seek to break cycles of poverty, homelessness, victimization, and incarceration while creating stronger, healthier, and more resilient communities throughout Southern Nevada.
Who we are
Founded in 2024, Let's Play Advocacy Group was built on a simple belief: the people closest to a problem are often closest to the solution.
Born and raised in North Town Las Vegas, our founder understands firsthand the challenges many individuals and families face when navigating complex systems and overcoming barriers to opportunity. Through both personal and professional experiences, she witnessed how difficult it can be to find support, access resources, and identify the right path forward. Those experiences inspired the creation of an organization dedicated to helping people navigate challenges with dignity, guidance, and practical support.
As a grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are building from the ground up with the support of community members, donors, grant funders, and a growing network of community partners who share our commitment to creating meaningful change. Together, we believe communities thrive when people share knowledge, resources, opportunities, and support with one another.
What makes us different is our combination of lived experience, professional expertise, and a willingness to use both orthodox and unorthodox approaches to meet people where they are. We understand that today's challenges often require creative solutions, strong partnerships, and a commitment to doing things differently when traditional methods fall short.
Through collaboration with local organizations, service providers, advocates, educators, behavioral health professionals, public agencies, and community leaders, we work to connect individuals and families with the resources, opportunities, and support they need to move forward.
Whether someone needs information, referrals, training, guidance, advocacy, emergency support, or simply a starting point, we strive to be a trusted resource and bridge to opportunity. While we may be a small organization today, our goal is to create a lasting impact that empowers individuals, strengthens families, and helps communities reclaim their ability to care for one another.
